The TE-TAP single-channel ignition variator is designed to introduce an additional ignition advance or lag in engines running on propane-butane or methane. The TE-TAP ignition variator works with inductive sensors and with Hall sensors.
The TE-TAR ignition variator has the ability to change the firmware. The following firmwares are currently available:
Bosch 60-2 (inductive)
Renault 60-2 (inductive)
Ford 36-1 (inductive)
Toyota 36-2 (inductive)
Hyundai 30-2 (Hall)
Suzuki 36-4 (Hall)
Bosch 60-2 (Hall)
By default, the CVT comes with Bosch 60-2 firmware from the factory.
The variator has the ability to advance the ignition, as well as its delay in the range of -15º ... +15 º.
